Frequently Asked Questions

We have placed together a collection of the most common questions asked by our students. If you have more questions, or if you  want to contact us, please click here.

How much does your service cost?

There is no cost to you for our service. We are part of an initiative to help people return to school.

What if I don’t know what degree I want?

That’s perfectly OK. We talk with people every day who want to return to school but aren’t sure what their options are. Our Education Advocates are here to help you. They’ll talk with you about your previous experience and things you enjoy doing. Together you’ll explore options that are available to you so you can make a good choice.

What kind of programs do you offer?

Since we have a huge database of schools and programs, we are able to offer you a wide variety of choices. That’s one of the advantages of allowing us to help you. We offer trade and technical certificates and diplomas, associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees. Fields include business, healthcare, criminal justice, legal, liberal arts, psychology, teaching, sports, automotive, refrigeration, electrical, computers, and many more.

Are the programs online or are they at a campus?

You can choose from either online programs or campus based programs. Since we have access to so many schools, there’s a good chance there will be one near you. Our proprietary software lets us search by your zip code. We can even tell you how far the school is from your home. Many people prefer an online program because of the flexibility it allows. Typically you can attend online classes whenever you want, in the convenience of your own home. This allows you to keep your current schedule and still be able to pursue your education. Whatever your preference, we are here to help.

Do you enroll me in school?

We do not enroll you in a school. Our goal is to help you select up to three schools to attend and then to put you in touch with advisors from each institution. Each school has its own policies for admission and you’ll want to talk with them to see which school is the right fit for you. It’s an exciting time for you. You deserve to enjoy the process of enrolling and taking this important step in your life!

I’m looking for a job. Can I still go back to school?

While you’re looking for work, it may also be a good time to start back to school. You’ll have a little extra time to get started on your studies. You’ll also be able to include your education information on your resume. In addition, you may have networking opportunities with your classmates that open doors to employment. And the knowledge and skills you learn will help you when you start back to work. Making the decision to go back to school isn’t easy. There always seems to be something in the way. Sometimes you just have to jump in and get started.

What happens when I call College Complete?

One of our Education Advocates will help you. They will ask you questions about your goals and your previous education. Using our proprietary software, they will research our database of schools and programs and help you choose up to three schools. They will verify your contact information so an advisor from each school can contact you. At the completion of the call, they will send you an email that includes a list of questions that may be helpful for you when you speak with the schools. They will also include links to government websites with additional information about going back to school. Our Education Advocates are real people who understand the concerns and questions you may have about your education. After you have selected a school, we hope you will call us back to let us know of your choice. We are always excited to know we have helped someone take the next step!
